In order to accommodate the various needs and lifestyles of participants, each group's meeting time and day is different. And, yes, food is always a part of each meeting!

Scouting Programs

Buford Presbyterian hosts a range of Scouting programs of varying ages. If you or some young person you know wants to know more, please contact the church office (770-945-6711), and we will put you in touch with the appropriate Scout leaders. BPC is very proud of its fine tradition in Scouting.

Boy Scout Troop 533 meets on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the basement area of the church. They also use the gym for Courts of Honor on some occasions, and it is a large and active troop that often makes big trips in the summer months. Past trips include Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and a wilderness canoe trek in Ontario, Canada.

BPC is also proud to sponsor Troop 5109 which is a female troop. They are one of the first female troops to be chartered in the Southeast in early 2019 and have been going strong ever since. There is an open door to new members year round and no previous scouting experience is required. This troop meets at the church on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. Find out more at the troop website! www.troop5109.com
